I found the breakfast schedule utterly inflexible, restricting my mornings. It's frustrating to be told that I must eat at a set time when the place was clearly underutilized. The location was misleading since it's nowhere near the center of Merida as advertised. I can't believe we had to pay an early check-in fee despite our room being ready. This experience was far from what I expect from a place in Mexico.

Staying at Ochenta y Dos was a good choice! The warm and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast each morning was really good. So many unique dishes that I looked forward to every day. Each meal was a reflection of Dave's culinary talent and attention to dietary requests. Happy hour was another highlight, with homemade hors d'oeuvres, made mingling with other guests a treat. The Beautiful King Room had a lovely design, complete with a beautiful shower surrounded by plants. The rooftop area offered a perfect retreat to relax after a day exploring the vibrant city of Merida. Dave took us on a fascinating tour of Chichén Itzá and unique cenotes, sharing rich history and local insights. I did find the schedule for breakfast a bit limiting, which sometimes felt too strict. A little more flexibility would have enhanced an already fantastic stay. Regardless of that minor inconvenience, Dave and Patrick's commitment to hospitality stood out were good.
